History
Gideon Entertainment & Media Productions opened in
Houston, TX in August of 2002 under the name Gideon Executive Marketing.
Initially, the company provided direct marketing services to the service
industry - golf courses, sports teams, restaurants, movie theatres, etc.
Former clients include the Dallas Stars, the Texas Rangers, Ruth's Chris
Steak House,
and Tour 18 Golf Course, among many others. In September of
2003, the owner of the company, Lee Irving, moved to Dallas, TX and changed the
name to GEM Pictures and then
to GEM Productions. Then in 2008, GEM
Productions moved to Delaware. Being an actor and writer
himself, Lee wanted to create a company that would integrate his passion for
the arts and the entertainment industry with his business administration and
marketing background. GEM Productions was a perfect way to provide
professional marketing services to businesses, as well as providing
top-quality DVDs to individuals and companies for weddings, parties, and
other ceremonies.
